INTRODUCTION:
In early
October 2019, I did autumn maintenance on my adopted Bald Cap Peak Ledges
Trail. This time around, I got off easy. All that needed to be done was to remove a
medium-sized tree that had fallen across the trail corridor, plus I did some general tidying by trimming some brush, and tossing a few small limbs
off the trail, etc.

The Bald Cap Peak Ledges Trail
is located near the village of Shelburne, NH.
Below is a map that provides more details about its location.

Regardless
of whether there is a little or a lot of maintenance to be done, the views from
the ledges on Bald Cap Peak are always rewarding.😃

Nice views and great photos as always, John.
Bald Cap Peak Ledges Trail looks like a wonderful little trail. You deserve a shout-out for helping to construct this trail, and for maintaining it!
Rita, thanks for the “shout-out” regarding my work on the Bald Cap Peak Ledges Trail. It’s truly a ‘labor of love’. The trail is only 0.5 mile long, and so it isn’t a lot of trail to maintain. Probably the hardest part is simply getting to the Bald Cap Peak Ledges Trail since it involves a steep 2.6 mile slog on the Peabody Brook Trail.☺
