Bushwhack to a Beaver Pond Near Frankenstein Cliff (Crawford Notch, NH)

In late January 2016, I launched a short bushwhack from the Dry River Campground in Crawford Notch, NH.  My destination was a beaver pond located on the east side of Rt. 302, opposite Frankenstein Cliff (see map below).

The photo below shows Frankenstein Cliff as viewed across the frozen beaver pond.

The next photo shows one of the braided channels of the Dry River that is located just a short distance east of the beaver pond.
