Shown in the photo below is a portion of Coffin Pond in foreground, and in distance are Mts. Garfield and Lafayette, plus a piece of Cannon Mountain with its snow-covered ski slopes.
In the next snapshot of the Gale River, I liked the little animal footprints that begin at bottom/right.

Regarding the identity of the animal footprints, I’m sorry to say that I have no idea. For one thing, the prints were partially filled with water, and therefore distorted. And secondly (and perhaps more consequential), identifying animals by their footprints isn’t one of my strong suits. :-)
